Alercia Medical Clinic while in construction

We are happy to announce that the building which will house the medical clinic has been constructed and the exterior is painted. Next the interior will be finished. This first floor will be divided, providing a large clinic space for our community nurse in addition to a kitchen for the Pilgrim School. The community development projects of Doorway to Peace originated with a grammar school for needy children in Faugasse, Haiti-The Pilgrim School. As part of this project, a local nurse began volunteering her services to look after the health needs of the school children. She has now expanded this volunteer service by ministering to other children and adults in the surrounding Faugasse community. The clinic space also will be utilized as a facility to provide medical treatment to the broader community during our short-term mission trips (typically ten days).
