Eddie Olmstead

Eddie Olmstead grew up on a wheat and cattle farm near Argonia, Kansas. In his early years, his spiritual formation was shaped by his parents and attending the Argonia United Methodist Church. While at Kansas State University, he rededicated his life to the Lord through the ministry of Baptist Student Union. Eddie met Joseph Delva when he attended Pilgrim Church in Beverly, Massachusetts. In 1999, he began assisting Joseph with the Pilgrim Church Haiti Ministry (the predecessor of Doorway to Peace). Except for a one year sabbatical, Eddie has served continuously as a board member of Doorway to Peace since its formation in 2003. Eddie currently lives in Hays, Kansas where he teaches chemistry at Fort Hays State University and attends North Oak Community Church.
